RiverJam Romp
Some of the most inspiring leaders in the New England traditional music and dance scene have come to Potash Hill in September 2023 and 2024 for RiverJam Romp. Participants spend a beautiful weekend with local and regional music and dance leaders, along with a fabulous community of participants, including singers, musicians, dancers, family, friends, and neighbors.
RiverJam Romp celebrates the ever-evolving tradition of community music in Southern Vermont with traditional fiddling, picking, singing, jamming, social dancing, and all of the shared joys of our regional music scene. All ages and abilities are welcome.
“We’re delighted to have RiverJam Romp here for a weekend of song, dance, and community,” said Potash Hill Managing Director Brian Mooney. “Potash Hill is a special place with a long history of bringing people together for creative exploration, education, and the forging of lasting friendships.”
The staff for RiverJam Romp has included Mary Alice and Peter Amidon; David Cantieni; Andy Davis; Louisa Engle; Yann Falquet, Julia Friend, Lissa Schneckenburger, Peter Siegel, Cedar Stanistreet, Amanda Witman, and Steve Zakon-Anderson.
