Renaissance String Quartet Presents Free Community Concert
October 14, 2024
We are excited to announce a new series of free informal concerts on campus, beginning with a performance by the Renaissance String Quartet on Sunday, November 10 at 2 pm in Ragle Hall. This is part of a new artist residency program for Marlboro Music artists, which brings exceptional emerging musicians to the Potash Hill campus for deep creative work and community engagement.
The New York City-based ensemble, featuring current Marlboro Music participant Randall Goosby, will be in residence on campus, developing community engagement programs for young people and rehearsing the music that they will present to us and in future engagements. Their November 10 program features music by Felix Mendelssohn, Leoš Janáček, and the quartet’s cellist, Daniel Hass. Admission is free (no reservations required). We hope you can join us!
